"I love writing, it's something I really enjoy doing and feel confident in. I also love traveling, I haven't been to too many places, but I have tons of countries on my bucket list for the future. I really like indie music, surf rock, alternative type stuff. My favorite bands include Wallows, SWMRS, The Frights, The Strokes, and Surf Curse. This is my first year in Newspaper, but I took digital journalism last year and loved it. I love writing for the newspaper and hope to do it next year too. Most people don't know that I won the district spelling bee in 4th grade. I plan on going to ASU's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications for a degree in journalism. If that fails, I will work at Frys for the rest of my life."
