"In my spare time I’m writing a book! I love being with my cats, reading, and advocating for LGBTQ+ equality. Sometimes I like books better than people, but I still socialize (sometimes!) When I first joined Newspaper as a freshman, I wanted to quit because I knew I would have to give up another activity that I loved. However, I gave up that activity and now Newspaper has my heart. I returned as an editor this year because it’s what I want to do with the rest of my high school years! Most people don't know that I review books for Changing Hands Bookstore, before they get released to the general public! In the future I want to go to Yale and major in English, with the hope of coming back to teach English here at Cactus Shadows!"
