Many people struggle with mastering the art of wrapping presents, although it can easily be mastered in just eight simple steps.

Materials needed: Wrapping paper, double-sided tape, sharp scissors (so the paper cuts smoother), ribbons, bows, etc. These can all be purchased at Target or Walmart.

Step 1: Lay the box face down on top of wrapping paper. Use scissors to cut along one side, make sure there is a wide enough sheet to cover both sides of the box.

Step 2: Pull the paper up and over the far end of the box, tape the paper to the box using double-sided tape. Crease paper along the edge of the box with thumb and forefinger.

Step 3: Unroll the paper across the box to meet the already wrapped end. Cutting the paper from the roll, make sure to leave an inch of overhang, fold that inch under, and crease along the fold and then tape it.

Step 4: Time to tackle one of the open ends. Push the paper inward, creating 4 flaps that are about 45 degrees, then crease along them.

Step 5: Now it is time to fold and tape the flaps. Fold down the top flap, crease along the top, then crease again where the paper meets the bottom edge of the box. When finished, grab tape and secure it in place. Repeat for the bottom flaps.

Step 6: Repeat steps four and five to the other open end.

Step 7: Time to decorate. Use ribbons, bows, etc and place wherever preferred.

Step 8: Admire finished present.

These steps will help tackle Christmas this year. With this wrapping method, it can work for almost any gift.
