The CS Press serves the students and staff of Cactus Shadows High School and as a connection to the surrounding community of Cave Creek, Arizona.

The objective of the CS Press is to provide a factual, informative, and entertaining newspaper, and to provide a forum for the expression of diverse viewpoints.

The CS Press is a member of the Colombia Scholastic Press Association, the National Scholastic Press Association, the Journalism Education Association, and the Arizona Interscholastic Press Association.

The CS Press has won several awards, including several Gold and Silver Crown Awards from Columbia Scholastic Press and The Pacemaker Award from the National Scholastic Press Association.
